Yet in that same great state of Texas exist a mid size pizza chain Pizza Patron is causing a stir amongst the locals by allowing their pizzas to be purchase with American currency or the Mexican currency Pesos.
Antonio Swad Pizza Patron’s president and founder who is over Italian-Lebanese descent and raised in Columbus, Ohio sees the Pizza For Pesos as a great business strategy. Pizza For Pesos is nothing more than a way to establish and reinforce our brand promise of being the premier Latino Pizza chain.
Well the good ole folks of America did not see that way as Mr. Swad Dallas headquarters have received over a 1,000 e-mail messages in one day alone. Most referring to Pizza for Pesos as being unpatriotic and many messages include the whole if you want to accept the peso, go to Mexico are mixed in with a few death threats.
