The past few weeks have been ride for everyone… Pick your sides I can see it now spooks, quacks, conspiracy theorist etc take your pick are having a field day. If you have been under a rock lately or caught up in the midst of holiday madness, here is what you have missed.

Yes all of this in under a week and more than likely most Americans missed out on this because they were too concerned with their shopping list and New Year’s Resolutions.
In a nutshell the president of the world’s lone super power has let the N.S.A. and others eavesdrop on Americans and others inside our wonderful country without court approved warrants. Of course all of this is being under the guise of fighting terrorist. There is that word again the post cold war boogeyman scaring little kids every night as their parents tell them a bedtime story. Now before everyone get bent out of shape it is not wild idealistic activist who having a fit about this it is our very own government. Senator John D Rockfeller IV, the West Virginia Democrat who is the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and a judge presiding over a secret court that oversees intelligence matters. Boys and Girls what they means is that he is very important and powerful.
Of course the current presidential administration spin doctors were out in force in referring to the N.S.A. F.B.I. director Robert Muller III said, “I would say generally, they are not allowed to spy or to gather information on American citizens.”
Later in the week it comes out that the F.B.I. has been watching groups such as P.E.T.A., Greenpeace, and the Catholics Workers Society. Which the government labeled as having a semi-communistic ideology.
Hmmm quoting F.B.I. spokesman John Miller, “The F.B.I. does not target individuals or organizations for investigation based on their political beliefs.” Hmm…
Even ACLU has jumped into mess stating that the current presidential administration has engaged every possible agency, from the Pentagon to N.S.A. to the F.B.I., to engage in spying on Americans… Also from the ACLU,” … you think wow we have really returned to the days of J. Edgar Hoover, when you see in F.B.I. files that they’re talking about a group like the Catholic Workers League as having a communist ideology.”
