What Time is it part II?
With many of us filling up our lives with so many activities our life becomes more and more hectic, complicated. It is here where the problem starts the true hidden agenda. All of our activities create more motion (commotion) in our lives that wears us down making us more irritable, less tolerant of others etc.
It creates a psychic blockade that prevents otherwise intelligent people from considering the future (or lack of) if we continue down our present path. It is like a programming error written into the software design of the modern mind that keeps us focusing on the trivial, (sports, shopping) but no time for the torment of the third world, the mass extinction of species to promote a way of life that has no future.
Even worse this blockade is reinforce by a vast propaganda machine spewing out crude as well as sophisticated distractions encouraging us to see themselves as alienated spectators of culture rather than active participants.
This alienation has led to the current spectacle (spell) many of us called life. The pressure mounts instead of dealing with it many retreat inside of a shell, developed destructive habits, behavior or even lifestyles.
Reality becomes a simulation; the human mind tries to wake up from it, basically pulling us in two different directions. The mirage around us masquerading as life and the desert of real that for many is unbearable. Many choose the former, which allows the vast propaganda machine to compute more data to create and provide us with bigger, better, more elaborate and illustrious simulations. We are not fighting the machine but feeding it, making it sexier, hipper and more sinister.
