Here we go again

Well, I guess everything can get back to normal or whatever masquerades itself as normalcy these days. The great mind job that has everyone excepting the month of Janus as the beginning of the New Year is now over. Speaking of mind jobs, the so-called NCAA Division I College Football championship between The USC Trojans and The University of Oklahoma Sooners was a disaster to say the least. Whew! I feel for you Sooner fans for the second year in the row the Sooners look invincible until the championship game. I still feel that Jason White’s lack of mobility hurts the Sooners when facing a high speed-blitzing defense. White cannot avoid the pass rush, though the Sooners collapse is far from his fault. White has had a great collegiate career and I hope that he advances the next level…..

The Sooners ran into a better team on a day where the Sooners were not playing the best game that they could play. I guess USC can make the claim that right now they are the new elite of college football. How much longer before the NFL comes knocking at the door of USC’s coach Pete Carroll again?

Top 5 for 2005
1. USC Trojans: basically this whole team will be back minus a few early draft entries.
2. Texas Longhorns: Vince Young is the real but can they beat the Sooners.
3. Miami Hurricanes: The Brock Berlin era is over… Now the Canes will be back to rocking and rolling.
4. Oklahoma Sooners: Adrian Peterson anyone?
5. Michigan Wolverines: Henne and Hart are going to drive the Big 10 crazy…..
